Massive Drug and Firearms Seizure in DeKalb County; Five Arrested
A successful drug search warrant execution at 1887 Cannon Street has resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics and firearms, and the arrest of five individuals.
The operation, conducted by the DeKalb County Police Narcotics/Vice, NET, and SWAT teams, yielded the following:
- 1737 grams of Marijuana
- 588 grams of Methamphetamine
- 79 grams of Crack Cocaine
- 36 grams of Powder Cocaine
- 1 Pint of Promethazine
- 10 Firearms (7 handguns, 3 assault rifles)
- 7 Digital Scales
Five individuals were arrested on serious charges.
The DeKalb County Police Department credited a concerned citizen’s tip for initiating the investigation, highlighting the importance of community partnership in combating crime.
