Cyclist Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle on Abercorn Street in Savannah
The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal accident involving a cyclist on Abercorn Street that occurred on March 20, 2025.
At approximately 2:20 AM, officers responded to the 11000 block of Abercorn Street where an adult male driver struck a cyclist while traveling in the eastbound lane. The cyclist was found unconscious at the scene and was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
