Fugitive Arrested After Attempting to Flee from Bibb County Deputies
A wanted suspect was apprehended by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies after providing a false name and attempting to flee.
Deputies made contact with a truck parked on Wyche Street near a pile of illegally dumped tires. The occupants of the truck denied dumping the tires. While deputies were checking their information, a male suspect exited the truck and fled on foot.
Deputies quickly apprehended the suspect, who was found to have an outstanding warrant and was in possession of narcotics.
He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center on numerous charges without further incident.
