Savannah Police Investigating Four Violent Incidents in One Week

The Savannah Police Department is investigating four separate violent incidents that occurred between March 14 and March 18, 2025.

March 14 Shooting
On March 14, officers responded to the 10000 block of Abercorn Street at around 11:30 a.m. following ShotSpotter reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found two victims: an adult male with life-threatening injuries and an adult female with a minor graze wound. The male victim was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center, while the female victim was treated at the scene and released.

March 15 Stabbing
On March 15, officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 10000 block of Middleground Road at approximately 1:15 p.m. Police discovered an adult female victim suffering from stab wounds. Despite receiving medical care and being transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries.

March 15 Shooting
Later that day, at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of New Castle Street after ShotSpotter detected gunfire. They located an adult male who reported being shot from a moving vehicle. The victim declined medical treatment at the scene.

March 18 Domestic Shooting
On March 18, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a domestic shooting in the 9000 block of Dunwoody Drive. An adult male was found injured, received initial medical treatment at the scene, and was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
