Three Arrested in Attempted Prison Drop with Drone in Davisboro

On March 7, 2025, at approximately 11:48 PM, deputies responded to a report of suspicious individuals on West Brown Drive in Davisboro. Upon investigation, it was determined the individuals were attempting a prison drop at Washington State Prison.

Authorities recovered a drone, a drone controller connected to a cellphone, and bags containing suspected contraband, including marijuana, tobacco, and Promethazine.

Three suspects were arrested:

  • Emmarrion Murray, 20, of Jonesboro, GA
  • Serpico Evans, 27, of East Point, GA
  • Alfonso Horton, 23, of Forest Park, GA

They face multiple felony charges, including Trading with Inmates, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute. Evans was additionally charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

This incident follows the arrest of three other individuals on March 3, 2025, who were also caught attempting to conduct a prison drop at the same facility using similar methods.
