A residential fire on Autumn Hill Road in the Panorama Estates neighborhood was quickly contained by White County Fire Services and assisting agencies on February 21, 2025.

At 8:41 PM, White County 911 Communications received a report of a house fire. Responding agencies included White County Fire Services, Helen Fire Department (automatic aid), White County EMS, the White County Sheriff’s Office, and White County Emergency Management.

First responders arrived to find heavy smoke emanating from the roof of a multi-story home. Firefighters initiated an interior attack and were able to promptly contain the fire, preventing it from spreading significantly.
