Carrollton Man Arrested After Investigators Seize Over 1,700 Opioid Pills

The ACE Unit has concluded a weeks-long investigation into the illegal distribution of opioid pills from a residence in Carrollton, leading to the arrest of 70-year-old Victor North.

A search warrant executed at North’s residence resulted in the seizure of over 1,700 opioid pills, including Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Tramadol, along with a firearm and U.S. currency. Investigators believe North was operating a residential pill mill, selling prescription opioids from his home.

North, a convicted felon, faces multiple charges, including the sale and possession with intent to distribute Schedule II and Schedule IV drugs, as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The ACE Unit, a multi-agency team consisting of investigators from the Carrollton Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and University of West Georgia Police Department, continues to target illegal drug distribution in the community.
