Savannah Police Investigate Pair of Shootings Resulting in Injuries
The Savannah Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred on January 29 and January 31, 2025, both resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to adult victims.
The first incident occurred on January 29 around 8:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of E. 38th St. SPD received a ShotSpotter report and later found a female victim who claimed to have been struck by a bullet fired from outside her residence. She was treated at the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center. A male victim connected to the incident later arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
The second shooting took place on January 31 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of E. Bolton St. Officers responded to the scene and located an adult male victim. He was treated on-site and also transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center. Like the earlier case, no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
