Bibb County Woman Arrested for DUI After Leaving Scene of Accident
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested a woman on charges of hit and run, open container, and driving under the influence following an incident on Friday.
Deputy Dalton Palmer took the driver of a Jeep into custody on the interstate after she left the scene of an accident at the intersection of Bass Road and Rivoli Drive. The driver was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
According to the report, the woman became verbally aggressive with deputies and repeatedly refused to comply during the booking process.
She remains in custody as the investigation continues.
