Over 50 Shots Fired in Carey Park Area of Atlanta, Damaging Vehicles and Homes
On January 9, 2025, around midnight, officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots at 2591 Etheridge Dr NW in the Carey Park area. Upon arrival, authorities found several vehicles and two housing units damaged by gunfire.
No injuries or gunshot wounds were reported at the scene. Investigators recovered more than 50 shell casings during their preliminary investigation.
Authorities are working to identify the suspect(s) and uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
