Sandy Springs Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute and Police Pursuit
Sandy Springs Police arrested 27-year-old D’quan Prebble on December 30, 2024, after a two-hour search following a domestic dispute. Around 2:00 p.m., officers responded to Fenwick Place, where Prebble was reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend. When the girlfriend’s sister attempted to intervene, Prebble pulled out a handgun, threatening to shoot everyone, including a juvenile.
Upon officers’ arrival, Prebble fled into nearby woods, prompting a perimeter search. After two hours, he was located and taken into custody in the area of Dumaine Trace without further incident. Prebble was charged with Terroristic Threats, Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree, Theft by Taking, Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
