Savannah Police Investigate Christmas Eve Shooting and Vehicle Theft
The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on December 24, 2024, in the 10,000 block of Abercorn Street, leaving one man injured.
Officers responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. Upon arrival, bystanders informed police that the victim, an adult male, had been shot and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle.
Authorities also determined that the victim’s car was stolen from the scene.
