Woman Fatally Shot in Atlanta’s Pittsburgh Neighborhood
On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at approximately 6:08 p.m., Atlanta Police officers responded to a shooting at 1113 Smith Street SW in the Pittsburgh area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.
Homicide Unit investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
