Midtown Atlanta Stabbing Leads to Arrest of 27-Year-Old Woman

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 3:40 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 5 officers responded to a report of a dispute at 900 Peachtree St. NE in Midtown Atlanta.

Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old female victim who had sustained a stab wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing and was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Officers detained a suspect at the scene, identified as 27-year-old Ciara Henare. Preliminary investigations revealed that a physical dispute between the victim and suspect escalated, resulting in the stabbing.

Henare was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Knife During the Commission of a Felony, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstruction.
