Macon Authorities Investigate Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash at Pio Nono and Eisenhower

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Eisenhower Parkway.

The crash, reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 12:05 a.m., involved three vehicles: a White Honda Civic traveling southbound on Pio Nono Avenue, a Black Chevy Equinox heading eastbound on Eisenhower Parkway, and a Blue Honda Accord heading westbound on Eisenhower Parkway.

Two individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the Chevy Equinox was evaluated on the scene and released. The female driver of the Blue Honda Accord is hospitalized in stable condition.

The male driver of the White Honda Civic was also transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities have not yet notified his next of kin.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision.
