Two Arrested in Connection to Morningside Burglary Spree
Arrest of Tiger Hollingsworth

Since February 2024, the Morningside community in Atlanta has experienced multiple burglaries. After months of investigation, Atlanta Police Department’s Burglary Unit, with assistance from the APD Fugitive Unit and Zone 6 officers, executed a search warrant on December 6, 2024, at 1109 Berkshire Rd NE.

The warrant targeted suspect Tiger Hollingsworth, identified as the primary suspect, and sought to recover items stolen in the burglaries. During the operation, officers detained another individual, Aurelius Brown, who was inside the residence. Hollingsworth attempted to escape through a passageway but was quickly apprehended by surrounding units.

Investigators recovered four handguns, collector coins, trading cards, and safes believed to be stolen. Brown was charged with theft by deception and theft by taking, while Hollingsworth faces multiple counts of burglary.

The investigation remains ongoing due to the extensive number of burglaries linked to the suspects.
