Savannah Police Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run on Skidaway Road
The Savannah Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on December 10, 2024, at around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of 36th Street and Skidaway Road.
Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The victim, an adult female, was located at the scene and provided medical assistance but later died from her injuries. The vehicle involved in the incident did not remain at the scene and fled.
