Homicide Investigation Underway After Young Man Shot at Creekwood Park in Perry

The Perry Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred on the night of December 9, 2024, at Creekwood Park. Officers responding to the scene found 21-year-old Mason Davis Holt of Warner Robins outside his vehicle, having been shot multiple times. Despite first aid attempts by first responders, Holt succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital in Macon.

Preliminary information suggests Holt may have been shot inside his vehicle before being found at the park. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are seeking any leads in the case.
