“This achievement reflects our agency’s unwavering commitment to excellence, professionalism, and public service,” said GBI Director Chris Hosey. “The decision was made possible through the hard work and dedication of each GBI employee.”
GBI Legal Division Director Laura McDonald emphasized the significance of CALEA accreditation, calling it “the Gold Standard in public safety,” and highlighting the trust it fosters within the community. Maintaining this accreditation ensures the GBI’s policies and practices meet the highest law enforcement standards.
The GBI Accreditation Team includes Accreditation Manager Andie Cadenhead, Legal Division Director Laura McDonald, and Senior Managing Attorney Lindsay Gardner.
