Woman Injured During Dispute in Lakewood Heights Area, Investigation Ongoing
On December 1, 2024, at approximately 7:47 p.m., Atlanta Police officers responded to a reported dispute at 1953 Lakewood Avenue SE in the Lakewood Heights area.
Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old woman with an apparent head injury. The victim, who was alert, conscious, and breathing, was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest the woman was involved in a dispute with an unidentified male suspect. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit were called to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
