Three Arrested in Contraband Drop at Washington State Prison

On the morning of Friday, November 22, 2024, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies intercepted a contraband drop at Washington State Prison in Davisboro. This marked the third contraband interception at the prison in a week, achieved through patrol tactics and investigative measures.

Deputies seized illegal drugs and other contraband during the operation. Arrested were Jamal Frazier, 28, and Lashundra Davis, 41, both of Lithonia, and Chavis Poole, 25, of Macon. All three suspects are in the Washington County Jail and face multiple felony charges, including:

  • Trading with Inmates
  • Crossing Guard Lines
  • Conspiracy to Commit a Crime
  • Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Schedule 2 Drug (Oxycodone) with Intent to Distribute
  • Racketeering (RICO)

Authorities emphasized their commitment to preventing contraband smuggling into Washington State Prison, citing ongoing efforts to secure the facility and halt illegal activities.
