Eight Arrested in Carrollton Drug Bust, Fentanyl-Laced Pills Seized
On a recent operation, the Carrollton Police Department’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Unit executed a search warrant at the Bellamy Apartments as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. The search led to the arrest of eight individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.
Among the arrests, Bryant Dickey, 24, of Villa Rica, was found in possession of over 30 grams of suspected fentanyl-laced fake ecstasy pills, marijuana, digital scales, and packaging materials. He faces charges of Trafficking Fentanyl and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
Other individuals arrested during the operation include:
- Kevin Monroe: Possession of Methamphetamine
- Willie Davis: Possession of Methamphetamine
- Montereo Johnson: Possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine
- Aliviah Waller: Possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine
- Chaddricus Freeland: Obstruction (misdemeanor)
- Jessica Shooks: Obstruction (misdemeanor)
- Tara Brown: Obstruction (misdemeanor)
The ACE Unit, a multi-agency team including the Carrollton Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and University of West Georgia Police Department, is committed to targeting illegal drug activities to ensure the safety of the community.
