Columbus Police Seize Over 7,000 in Drugs During Gurley Drive Bust

On November 24, 2024, the Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3800 block of Gurley Drive as part of a methamphetamine distribution investigation.

The operation resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs, vehicles, and cash. Items confiscated included:

  • Methamphetamine: 6.2 lbs (street value: $127,912.50)
  • Fentanyl: 13.5 oz (street value: $38,400.00)
  • Psilocybin Liquid: 100 grams (street value: $1,000.00)
  • Cocaine: 6.2 grams (street value: $310.00)
  • Other pills: Alprazolam, Clonazepam, Acetaminophen/Codeine, and Ecstasy

Additional items seized included a 2022 Dodge Durango, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, and $3,010 in cash.

Two suspects were arrested during the operation:

  • Logan Phillips, 38, charged with:
    • Trafficking Methamphetamine
    • Trafficking Fentanyl
    • Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
    • Possession of Alprazolam with Intent to Distribute
    • Possession of Psilocybin
    • Possession of Drug-Related Objects
  • Gregory Patton, 54, charged with:
    • Possession of Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Psilocybin
    • Possession of Drug-Related Objects

This case remains under investigation.
