Atlanta Murder Suspect Captured by Sandy Springs Police
On November 26, 2024, Reuben Myton, 26, of Atlanta, was arrested by the Sandy Springs Police Department and charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. Myton was transported to the Fulton County Jail without incident.
The incident occurred earlier that morning around 11:00 a.m. when Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers responded to a call about a shooting at 465 Glenn St SW. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Grady EMS, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was confronted by Myton, who exited a vehicle and shot him multiple times before fleeing. The case is under ongoing investigation.
