Two Teens Arrested After Fleeing Stolen Vehicle, Firearms Recovered in Bibb County
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested two 17-year-olds in connection with a Theft by Taking Auto investigation following a vehicle theft on November 22, 2024. The suspects were apprehended on November 25, 2024, just before 11:30 p.m. near the Citgo on Rocky Creek Road.
Investigators had spotted a Kia Soul that had been reported stolen days earlier and tracked it to the gas station, where they observed the vehicle and its occupants. Upon attempting to contact the suspects, both fled on foot into a nearby wooded area. After a brief pursuit, deputies apprehended both suspects.
During the arrest, investigators recovered firearms, ammunition, and an extended magazine, including one firearm that had been reported stolen. The stolen vehicle was also recovered.
The suspects were identified as K’Shon Altorius Dean and Jontraevious Markell Robinson, both of Macon. Dean faces charges of Felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Probation Violation. Robinson faces a charge of Felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. He was also on bond for Armed Robbery, Hijacking a Motor Vehicle, and Aggravated Assault, and his bond has been revoked.
Both suspects’ bonds were denied, and they have been transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for further processing.
