Alabama Fugitive Wanted for Attempted Murder Arrested at Muscogee County Motel

On November 26, 2024, authorities apprehended 39-year-old Yolanda Alisa Crawford at a motel in Muscogee County. Crawford was wanted by the Phenix City Police Department for felony Attempted Murder in connection with an October 19, 2024, shooting in Phenix City, Alabama.

The arrest was carried out by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service, Columbus Police Department, and Phenix City Police Department.

Crawford was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Muscogee County Jail, where she awaits extradition to Alabama.
