Landscaping Crew Robbed at Gunpoint, One Shot in Decatur Incident
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at approximately 5:16 pm, Decatur Police responded to a shooting incident in the 1000 block of Clairemont Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male who had been shot. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to initial reports, a landscaping crew was working in the area when an unknown suspect or suspects approached and robbed them at gunpoint. The Decatur Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the case and following up on evidence collected from the scene.
