Man Picking Up Food Followed and Shot at on Metropolitan Parkway; Suspects Flee Scene

Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after midnight on November 12, 2024, near 610 Metropolitan Parkway SW. Officers responded to the location around 12:05 a.m., where they found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and damage to his vehicle. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing when transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary information from the investigation suggests the victim, along with a passenger who was unharmed, was on his way to pick up a food order when he noticed a white vehicle following him. Shortly after, the suspect vehicle reportedly opened fire, striking the victim and the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The Atlanta Police Department has not yet apprehended the suspects, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
