Towns County Drug Investigators Make Three Arrests in Separate Drug Busts at Hiawassee Hotel and Bell Creek Residence

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, Towns County Drug Investigators arrested three individuals in connection with separate drug-related incidents in Towns County, Georgia.

The first incident occurred at the Holiday Inn Express in Hiawassee, where investigators received information regarding suspected drug activity in two rooms. After establishing probable cause, investigators conducted a search and seized methamphetamine. Two suspects were arrested at the scene:

1. Hannah Jo Barajas, 26, Homeless – Charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
2. Kevin Lee Parson, 38, Lula, GA – Charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

In a separate incident later that day, investigators responded to a residence in the Upper Bell Creek area. After confirming probable cause, they executed a search of the home. One individual was arrested:

1. Cody Crane, 37, Hiawassee, GA – Charged with misdemeanor possession and use of a drug-related object.
