Week-Long Investigation Leads to Major Drug Bust in Towns County

A collaborative investigation between the Towns County Sheriff’s Office and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Streak Hill Road in Hiawassee, GA. The search uncovered a large quantity of drugs, including Methamphetamine, Marijuana, various pills, and drug-related objects. Methamphetamine field-tested positive at the scene, and multiple drugs were packaged for sale.

Authorities revealed that the suspect, Tiffany Nicole McNabb, 39, of Hiawassee, had been selling drugs since May 2024. She was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including:

  • Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine
  • Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
  • Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Felony Possession of Controlled Substances (x2)
  • Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
  • Felony Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug-Related Objects

Sheriff Ken Henderson commended the work of the drug agents, uniform patrol, and K-9 units, as well as the vital information provided by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. The combined efforts led to the disruption of a significant drug operation in the community.
