Man Shot at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Nashville, Georgia

On October 14, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Nashville Police Department officers were dispatched to Advanced Auto Parts at 520 S. Davis St. for reports of shots fired. While en route, officers were flagged down by citizens at O’Reilly Auto Parts, located nearby at 510 S. Davis St., who reported that an individual inside the store appeared to have been shot.

Officers entered O’Reilly’s and found the victim, identified as James Edward Davis II, lying behind the sales counter with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began administering first aid while awaiting EMS. Davis was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Detectives have identified a suspect, but details have not yet been released by the Nashville Police Department.
