DeKalb County Police Seize Firearms and Drugs in Decatur Raid

On October 8, 2024, DeKalb County Police executed a search warrant at 3218 Jaynes Valley Drive in Decatur as part of an ongoing drug investigation. During the search, officers seized four assault rifles, nine handguns, one shotgun, and approximately 1.5 ounces of cocaine, 181 Ecstasy pills, 11.8 ounces of marijuana, and over $4,000 in cash from drug sales. The suspect in connection with this case was arrested and lodged in the DeKalb County Jail.
