Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Has Ties to Georgia, $6,000 Reward Offered
Ernest Christopher Nathan, 45, a fugitive on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list, is this month’s Featured Fugitive, with a $6,000 reward offered for tips leading to his arrest in October. Nathan, originally from Houston, has strong ties to Georgia, where his criminal history began in 2006.
Nathan has been wanted since February 2024 in Harris County for murder. His Georgia record includes convictions for aggravated assault, battery, and bail jumping. In October 2022, he was arrested by Houston Police for murder and evading arrest but was released on bond the following day.
Standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds, Nathan has tattoos on his arms and back. In addition to Houston, he has known connections in Georgia, Ohio, and Louisiana. Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters MUST provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the Texas DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
All tips are anonymous — regardless of how they are submitted — and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
