Hinesville Police Search for Teen Suspect in Shooting Death of 30-Year-Old Man

The Hinesville Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating 17-year-old Jarousha Jamar Houston, who is wanted for aggravated assault related to the shooting death of 30-year-old Alexander Johnson on the evening of October 6, 2024.

Houston is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Hinesville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division at 912-368-8211 or their local 911 center immediately.

UPDATE: Mr. Houston turned himself into law enforcement on October 14th.
