Savannah Man Arrested Following Domestic Shooting on Holland Drive

Savannah Police Detectives have arrested 22-year-old Jau-Keece Capers in connection with a domestic shooting that occurred on October 1 in the 200 block of Holland Drive.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of an injury at the scene. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She received immediate medical aid and was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Following an initial investigation, officers arrested Capers and charged him with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and violation of a family violence protection order. He was taken into custody and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center without incident.
