Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect Following Latino Mart Heist in Columbus

The Columbus Police Department is actively searching for John Dortch, a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on July 15, 2024, at the Latino Mart located at 4008 River Road.

According to witnesses, two suspects entered the store around 8:25 a.m. on the day of the robbery. Surveillance footage captured Dortch, a White male, armed with a pistol. Both suspects demanded money and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Joshua Davis, the second suspect, was arrested on August 29, 2024, following tips from citizens. However, Dortch remains at large. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact 911 or Sgt. M. Dahnke at 706-225-4929. Callers can remain anonymous.
