Savannah Man Arrested After Domestic Incident Leaves Him Shot, Facing Multiple Charges

The Savannah Police Department has arrested 27-year-old Timothy Mitchell Jr. in connection with a domestic incident that occurred on September 24 in the 1300 block of Augusta Ave.

Officers responded to the scene around 10 p.m. after receiving reports of domestic violence. Upon arrival, they found Mitchell suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and subsequently transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for further medical care.

Mitchell has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and battery.
