Man Charged with Murder in Deadly Shooting at Oz Tactical in Newnan
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged 38-year-old William Brannon Owens of Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia, with aggravated assault and murder in connection with the death of Olivia Faith Robinson, 28, also of Newnan.
On the night of September 20, 2024, around 9:20 p.m., Newnan Police Department officers were dispatched to Oz Tactical, located on East Court Square, in response to a call initially described as an unknown problem, which was later updated to a shots fired incident. Upon arrival, officers found Robinson dead inside the business, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
After conducting their investigation, authorities determined that Owens had shot and killed Robinson. Owens was arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
