27-Year-Old Found Shot Dead Near Pittman Park
On September 15, 2024, at approximately 4:09 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers responded to a report of a shooting at 1044 Ira Street SW, near Pittman Park. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 27-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel on the scene pronounced the victim deceased.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit have responded to the location to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
