Georgia Bureau of Investigation Arrests Coffee County Teen for Child Porn
On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Dillon Minchew, age 18, of Coffee County, GA, was arrested and charged with one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children. The arrest followed an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit.
The investigation began after the GBI CEACC Unit received a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which alerted them to possible online possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The investigation led to a search warrant being executed at Minchew’s residence. The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI regional investigative office in Douglas, GA, assisted with the search.
Minchew has been booked into the Coffee County Jail.
