Fayetteville Public Safety Reminder: Restrictions on Vehicles with Eight or More Wheels
The City of Fayetteville reminds residents that vehicles with eight or more wheels are prohibited from traveling on the following roadways:
- Jeff Davis Dr between N Glynn St & E Stonewall Ave
- Grady Ave between S Glynn St & Bradford Square
- Beauregard Blvd & Redwine Rd between S Glynn St & Ramah Rd
This restriction includes any wheels on towed trailers. However, the ordinance does not apply to:
- Recreational vehicles
- Vehicles pulling recreational trailers
- Vehicles pulling boat trailers
- Vehicles making deliveries or pickups from establishments within the restricted areas
The restriction aims to prevent damage to the roadways caused by the size and weight of such vehicles.
