Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Man in Athens-Clarke County

Athens-Clarke County Detectives are requesting assistance in locating Matthew Chiu, who has been missing since July 15, 2024. Chiu, 36, was last seen leaving the Cornerstone Church in Athens, Georgia.

Matthew Chiu is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has distinctive tattoos, including the King of Hearts on his left hand and the Queen of Hearts on his right hand. At the time of his disappearance, Chiu was wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, as seen in a photograph released by police.
