Suspect Arrested for Manley Drive Armed Robbery at Fort Moore
On August 17, 2024, around 1:58 p.m., Columbus Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 1000 block of Manley Drive. The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males. The victim managed to capture a picture of the suspects’ vehicle license plate.
On August 20, 2024, during an interview with police, the victim positively identified one of the suspects as 21-year-old Brandon Hardy. Warrants were subsequently issued for Hardy’s arrest on charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
On August 24, 2024, Hardy was apprehended while attempting to gain access to Fort Moore. He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Columbus Police Department. This investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are pending.
