Savannah Police Investigate Shooting Near Whitaker Street and W. Congress Lane

Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on August 24 near the intersection of Whitaker Street and W. Congress Lane. The incident left an adult female with a non-life-threatening wound.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area. During their investigation, they learned that the gunshot wound victim had sought medical attention at Candler Hospital.
