Man in Critical Condition After Shooting in Downtown Atlanta
On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at approximately 6:44 AM, Atlanta Police officers responded to a shooting incident at 238 Auburn Avenue NE in Downtown Atlanta.
Upon arrival, officers found a male with a gunshot wound to his neck. The victim was not alert or conscious but was breathing and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting followed a verbal altercation between the victim and another male outside the location. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
