In a separate incident at Northside Drive NW and 10th Street NW, officers arrived at the scene of a three-vehicle accident involving a 28-year-old male driver. The driver had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical personnel.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the deceased driver was involved in a road rage dispute with the surviving victim. Following the altercation, the driver collided with a gray vehicle and subsequently fired shots from his vehicle at a nearby red sedan, with no injuries reported to the red sedan’s driver. The driver then took his own life at the intersection.
