Atlanta Man Charged with Murder Following Dispute at NW Residence

The incident began on August 19, 2024, at approximately 8:21 p.m., when Atlanta Police Zone 1 Officers responded to a report of a dispute at the same address. Upon arrival, officers encountered a male who did not comply with their orders. SWAT Units were called in as a precaution and arrived to secure the scene. A 68-year-old female was found deceased at the location. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
