14-Year-Old Stabbed During Dispute With Another Juvenile in South Atlanta
On August 21, 2024, at approximately 3:47 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers responded to a report of a person stabbed near 156 Moury Ave. SW in South Atlanta.
Upon arrival, officers found a 14-year-old male victim who had sustained an injury consistent with being stabbed. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was engaged in a physical dispute with another juvenile when he sustained his injury. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit have responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
