Five Arrested After Armed Incident During Music Video Shoot in Atlanta
On August 7, 2024, officers responded to a call reporting multiple males brandishing firearms at 355 Whitehall St SW. The caller noted that two of the individuals were wearing face masks. Upon arrival, officers encountered a male in body armor who claimed he was providing security for a music video shoot. The security guard explained that the firearms were prop guns used for the video.
While speaking with the security guard, officers observed several males entering a navy blue Mercedes on the property. The vehicle left the scene before officers could question them. A mobile unit was dispatched and successfully stopped the vehicle a few blocks away.
Inside the Mercedes, officers discovered multiple firearms within reach of the driver and passengers. The driver, 20-year-old Jarquavis White, admitted to not having a valid driver’s license. A Glock was recovered from beneath his seat. The front passenger, 19-year-old Tekai Key, had a concealed rifle under his seat. The rear passenger, 26-year-old Joseph Daniels, had a Glock on his person. Additionally, rear passengers 21-year-old Kevin Beaufort and 22-year-old Jamaireon Muse were also found with Glocks. Muse had an active warrant out of Clayton County.
All individuals were charged with Unlawful Firearm Possession. Officers seized the firearms, nearly $10,000 in cash, and several rounds of ammunition, which were documented and submitted as evidence. The vehicle was impounded, and all arrestees were transported to Fulton County Jail.
