Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Killing Woman After Meeting on Dating App
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has announced that Antonio Wilson has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for malice murder. In 2019, Wilson attacked and killed Fabiola Thomas in her Roswell apartment after meeting her through a dating app. Thomas had rejected Wilson and unfriended him the day before she was murdered.
Investigators found that Thomas and Wilson had only dated briefly after their initial meeting on the dating app. The jury took only 30 minutes to find Wilson guilty. Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis stated that her office is proactively litigating domestic violence cases, highlighting this case as a major win for her office.
